Sensor Dice uncompensated (Comparative table)MEAS Switzerland's pressure sensors are based on leading MEMS technology and benefit from the proven MEAS Switzerland experience and knowhow in high volume manufacturing since a decade. The pressure sensor consists of a silicon micro-machined membrane with four implanted piezoresistors at it's surface that are sensitive to mechanical stress. The pressure range offered is from 50 mbar (0.75 PSI) up to 28 bars (400 PSI), die sizes range from 1.48×1.62mm to 2.5×2.5 mm. |
SMD uncompensated (Comparative table)Thanks to its manufacturing capabilities MEAS Switlzerland is offering SMD packaged pressure sensor dies environementaly protected and wire-bonded to a ceramic or PCB substrate. These small size devices can then easily be soldered on a standard printed board. Uncompensated SMD sensors require external amplification and temperature compensation. The output signal in the range of 90 to 240 mV with a linearity of 0.05% to 0.5% is depending on the sensor. |

Calibrated Digital Modules (Comparative table)Those devices contain a pressure sensor and an interface IC with digital output (I2C or SPI type). The modules are factory matched and calibrated to provide an ideal solution for low power digital applications. Typical applications are high resolution watch altimeters, barometers, navigation instruments, etc... Various pressure ranges from 100 mbar (14.5 PSI) up to 14 bars (200 PSI) are offered. |

Packaging and connectionsMany different types of digital modules are available, which vary in size and type of substrate (ceramic, PCB). A selection of type and shape of packaging cap (metallic, plastic) can also be used. MEAS Switzerland product range covers a wide range of applications, pressure range, resolution. In addition custom specific designs are also provided following a proven, fast and effective procedure in direct relationship with the customer. |
